Our first apartment building was Valley View.  This is a 10-unit apartment block with ground level access all around.  Each unit has its own patio and tenants have the option of planting their own gardens.  Deer and pheasants are a common sight out the patio doors of these homes.  The apartments are all two-bedroom units with all appliances included.
